Why is this considered Bad?

I want to know why people make it such a big deal about homosexuality? Why is it deemed okay for a heterosexual couple to be affectionate in public but not a homosexual couple? Does it really matter who my child's teacher is married to or in a committed relationship with, as long as my child is being treated with respect, is cared for, and learning what she needs to learn academically? Why are people such hypocrites, you meet a person and they are nice, smart, and good at their job until they introduce you to their same sex partners, and then all of a sudden the person you thought was great a mere second ago is flawed? Why people when your child comes out as gay you shun the spawn of your womb, your flesh and blood, the human being you gave life to until they either commit suicide, run away, if you have not thrown them out of your house, or abused at the hands of someone taking advantage of their misfortune to have you as parents? Why does the government feel that they should have a say in who people can marry? And last but not least, why should who a person loves and commits to be anyone's business but their own? Would you want someone denying your basic human rights because you are with someone who loves and cherishes you like you deserve and vice versa, but they just happen to be the same sex? It's not up to us to judge, we teach this to our children and turn around and do it everyday with everything and with everyone, they say its human nature, but the key word their is, human, and it's human to love each other.
